Federal and provincial skilled worker programs have different requirements. For example, Quebec greatly favors candidates who master the French language. At the federal level as well as in other Canadian provinces, the various programs require that the candidate be able to express himself in either English or French. We must also point out that there is a specific program that favors Francophones who want to stay outside Quebec.

Aside from the various specific programs, the regular permanent residence program is modulated by a point system for which applicants receive an invitation if they meet the requirements. Age, education, spouse’s status and connection to Canada are all relevant to reviewing your case.
